There are three people in my department and we work for the company globally. Plans that we make at the headquarters need to be designed in a way they can be implemented in all countries. We have to think of the bigger picture and aim to be future proof.
I like that we have the right balance between working hard and having fun. Everyone in the company brings a lot of energy to work. I personally like that I’m continuously challenged in my work,and get to see the development of the company over the years.
Interxion is becoming a more mature company and you can contribute to this when you think things could be done better. I am currently defining the next phase of our HR technology by looking at which functions need to be available and how this can be implemented.
The constant development makes it interesting for me, as I am a development-oriented person. As an employee, you can think about the company’s next steps and you can see and experience the growth. This is what drives me to get out of bed in the morning and go to work. There is genuinely never a dull moment.
Marc started as a maternity cover for the Business Partner combined with a Project Manager role for the implementation of the HR system, took on the role of Director Training and Development and is now Director HR Operations, Technology and Shared Services.
